DC Cachar visits Sonai, inspect dykes & damaged houses

July 20: Deputy Commissioner, Cachar, Rohan Kr Jha along with Circle Officer, Sonai Revenue Circle and Assistant Executive Engineer, Water Resource, Sonai Division visited Tundhurkandi, Junjurbali areas to inspect the restoration work of Ring Bandh. DC Jha then visited Sonabarighat PART I Dyke near PHE plant and Sonabarighat PT I dyke at the Main Road.

Thereafter, the Deputy Commissioner visited flood affected areas and inspected damaged houses at various places of Sonai Revenue Circle viz.; Gobindanagar Pt II, Dakhin Mohanpur GP, Dakhin Mohanpur PT VIII, Natun Kanchanpur, Rangirghat GP, Dakhin Mohanpur Pt-I, Gargaripar.
