DC Cachar launches app to upload photo & report crowd for the administration to take prompt action
April 22: Deputy Commissioner, Cachar, Barnali Sharma held a press briefing at the conference hall of her office here in Silchar on Wednesday. Addressing journalists present at the press meeting, she informed that the district administration has come up with a portal to address the key issues related to social distancing. With this, any person anywhere can post a photo or video wherever he or she sees a crowd for the district administration to take prompt action.
Later on, Assistant Commissioner, Abhilash Barnawal, gave a powerpoint presentation thereby explaining the details about this app which was launched by the District Administration Cachar ceremonially amidst the group of journalists present at the conference hall.
Mentioning the url of this app cacharreport.clappia.com, DC Sharma said that a photo or a video sent through this app will send an alert message to the District administration to take action quickly. The Deputy Commissioner, who sought everyone’s support and cooperation in dealing with the present situation, handed over sanitizers, raincoats, masks, towels and soaps to the journalists present in the press conference as a token of appreciation and lauded them for their dedicated service to the society. District Development Commissioner, Jessica Lalsim and Additional Deputy commissioner Sumit Sattawan were also present in the press briefing.
