DC Cachar inspects sericulture farm at Khaspur

June 20: Deputy Commissioner,Cachar, Keerthi Jalli inspected the Sericulture Farm at Thaligram in Khaspur on Saturday. She went around the vacant land at Thaligram Farm, New Plantation farm, Muga silk worm rearing, distribution of reeling machine room, harvesting of muga cocoons, preservation of cocoons, survey of the farm, cocoon collection from jungle etc. She surveyed the vacant lands and instructed the concerned department to prepare plans for further development of area.
