DC Cachar directs all banks to expedite the process of SHG account opening

Feb. 12: A meeting on Self Help Group (SHG) Bank Account Opening and SHG Credit Linkage was held on Tuesday at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner, Cachar under the Chairmanship of DC Keerthi Jalli along with Bank officials and ASRLM officials.

Expressing her views, DC Cachar instructed to LDM, all Regional Managers of all Banks and all Bank Branch Managers to expedite the process of SHG Account Opening and Bank Accounts of all the SHGs for which the Bank Account opening applications are pending at different Bank Branches should be opened within next ten days. Also, it was instructed to all Bank Branches to achieve SLBC target for sanctioning of SHG Bank Loans under ASRLM by the end of February 2021.
