DC Cachar Barnali Sharma holds review meeting with departmental heads

January 07: A review meeting was held on Tuesday in the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner, Cachar. The meeting was presided over by new DC Cachar, Barnali Sharma. In the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner discussed with all heads of department regarding overall development of Cachar district and reviewed the progress of various ongoing schemes in the district.

The Deputy Commissioner also suggested to the HOD’s to gear up the performance in order to achieve the cent  percent success of the schemes.She also enquired about the progress of cleanliness programme under Swachh Bharat Mission in Cachar district.

She said that on 26 January, on the occasion of Republic Day, award for cleanliness will be given.The meeting was also attended by District Development Commissioner, Jessica Lalsim, Additional Deputy Commissioners Lolita Rongpipi, A.R Majumder, Planning Officer Ruli Doulaghapu, Assistant Planning Officer Sanghita Gupta.
