Dakshin Silchar branch of Bharat Vikas Parishad organises health camp at Jalenga Tea Estate
July 28: Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP), Dakshin Silchar branch organized a specialized Health Camp at West Jalenga Tea Estate on Tuesday. Dr. Darshana Patoa, Dr. Manjari Verma and Dr. Devdatta Biswas thoroughly examined the patients and provided necessary treatment and advices.
Dr Kingshuk Adhikari, Treasurer of BVP Dakshin Silchar branch was the overall administrative in-charge of the camp and made necessary arrangements for registration and dispensing of free medicines among the patients belonging from marginalized section of the society with the active co-operation and support from Dr. Debotosh Chakraborty, Dr Barunjyoti Choudhury, Dr Paromita Das, Dr. Aditi Nath and Mrs Paromita Das Choudhury. Health workers and supportive staffs of the tea estate were also engaged for running the camp smoothly.
Prof Niranjan Roy, President of Dakshin Silchar branch guided through various ways in chalking out the event for the downtrodden people of the tea garden area. Dr Darshana Patoa ,Secretary, Dakshin Silchar branch of BVP conveyed heartfelt thanks to management of West Jalenga Tea Estate, members of Dakshin Silchar Branch and Prof Niranjan Roy who is the inspiration of the branch for delivering such social services successfully even during this pandemic situation.
