Daffodils School celebrate Children’s Day with pomp and gaiety at Gandhi Bagh Park
way2barak, Nov.14: On Monday, Daffodils School, Silchar celebrated Children’s Day amidst a host of activities. Children’s day, one of the best days of the year for kids is celebrated on the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru in schools across the country. However, this year the authorities of Daffodils School invited all the students at Gandhi Bagh Park where in the company of the teachers and staff, the children enjoyed their day to their heart’s content.
The boys and girls of Daffodils School enjoyed an action-packed day filled with fun, games, and activities, which would indeed be a memorable one in their journey of life. Infact, very recently, the Gandhi Bagh Park got a facelift. The happiness of the children knew no bounds as they participated in multifarious activities over there.
The ride in the joy train, especially by the kids as if made their day. The senior students of the school cheered as the kids enjoyed their train ride. Even the teachers were seen to sing and dance with the children. Even many parents and guardians were seen along with the students. Expressing delight, one of the parents said, “I really thank the school authority from the bottom of my heart for arranging a day out. The joy which I saw in the face of the kids was something very precious. Thank you Daffodils School for the day.” Overall, it was a fun-filled day for both teachers and students.
