Fees to be refunded to students who fail to qualify for Grade III & IV recruitment exam: CM

CM Sarma also said that the results for the exam will be announced within a month if possible

way2barak, Aug. 28: In a significant move, Assam Government has decided to return back the examination fees of those candidates who will fail to qualify for the Grade III and IV recruitment exams. This was announced by Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday. He also said that the results of this exam will be declared within a month. The Chief Minister said this while interacting with the media. 

“The fees will be returned back to the bank accounts of the candidates after the results are declared,” Sarma declared. He further said, “We will keep the fees of only those candidates who pass the exam.” Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced this while attending Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio address “Mann Ki Baat” at Guwahati’s Azar.

The written examinations of the State Level Recruitment Commission for Grade-III was held across 1,903 centres in 25 districts of the state on Sunday amid strict security arrangements. More than 14 lakh candidates were expected to sit for the Grade III & IV recruitment exams.
