Covishield to be administered at 3 centres in Silchar on 20 July

July 19: After a gap of three days, vaccination drive will once again take place in Silchar town on 20 July, 2021. Issuing an order to this effect, Dr Reema Patao, Medical Officer of Urban Family Welfare Unit, Silchar on 19 July stated that both online and on-spot vaccination session for those above 18 years of age will take place at 3 centres in Silchar on Tuesday, where only Covishield will be provided.

The 3 vaccination centres are:

1. Nazirpatty Model School: Only 2nd dose vaccines will be provided on the basis of online booking. A total of 300 doses of Covishield will be provided in this school on 20 July.
2. Urban PHC, Trunk Road, Silchar: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of online slot booking. Again, both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be provided on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 400 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 20 July.
3. Durga Sankar Patshala, Ambicapatty: Here too, both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of online slot booking. Again, both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be provided on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 400 doses of Covishield will be given in this centre on 20 July.
