Covid vaccines to be administered at 9 centres in Silchar on 27 September

Sept. 26:  Dr Reema Patao, Medical Officer of Urban Family Welfare Unit, Silchar on Sunday stated that on-spot vaccination session will take place at eight centres in Silchar on Monday where Covishield will be administered, whereas Covaxin will be provided at 01 centre. A total of 4,000 doses of Covishield and 200 doses of Covaxin will be administered on 27 September in Silchar town.

The 8 vaccination centres where Covishield will be provided are:

• SM Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar: Both 1st dose (200 shots) and 2nd dose (300 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 500 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 27 September.
• Nazirpatty Model School, Silchar: Both 1st dose (200 shots) and 2nd dose (300 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 500 doses of Covishield will be given in this centre on 27 September.
• Durga Sankar Patshala, Ambicapatty: Both 1st dose (200 shots) and 2nd dose (300 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 500 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 27 September.
• Pulin Bihari Prathomik Bidyalay, Itkhola: Both 1st dose (200 shots) and 2nd dose (300 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 500 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 27 September.
• Abaya Charan Patshala, Sadarghat: Both 1st dose (200 shots) and 2nd dose (300 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 500 doses of Covishield will be given in this centre on 27 September.
• Radhamadhab Buniyadi Patshala, Kanakpur: Both 1st dose (200 shots) and 2nd dose (300 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 500 doses of Covishield will be given in this centre on 27 September.
• Red Cross Hospital, Cachar: Both 1st dose (200 shots) and 2nd dose (300 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 500 doses of Covishield will be given in this centre on 27 September.
• Chaitanya Nagar LP School, Swamiji Road, Itkhola: Both 1st dose (200 shots) and 2nd dose (300 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 500 doses of Covishield will be given in this centre on 27 September.

The vaccination centre where Covaxin will be provided is:

• Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Only 2nd dose (200 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration on 27 September.
