Covid vaccines to be administered at 9 centres in Silchar on 14 September

Sept. 13: Dr Reema Patao, Medical Officer of Urban Family Welfare Unit, Silchar on Monday stated that on-spot vaccination session will take place at nine centres in Silchar on Tuesday. Out of the nine centres, Covishield will be administered in 8 places whereas Covaxin will be provided at only 1 centre. A total of 1,770 doses of Covishield and 200 doses of Covaxin will be administered on 14 September in Silchar town.

The 8 vaccination centres where Covishield will be provided are:

1. SM Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar (CVC-1): Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (1500 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 250 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 14 September.
2. SM Dev Civil Hospital, AAMSA Silchar (CVC-2): Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (1500 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 250 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 14 September.
3. Sishu Mandir School, Malinibil (CVC-1): Here, both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (130 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 230 doses of Covishield will be given in this centre on 14 September.
4. Sishu Mandir School, Malinibil (CVC-2): Here, both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (140 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 240 doses of Covishield will be given in this centre on 14 September.
5. Sarbodoy LP School, Saratpally, Sonai Road (CVC-1): Here, both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be given in this centre on 14 September.
6. Sarbodoy LP School, Saratpally, Sonai Road (CVC-2): Here, both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be given in this centre on 14 September.
7. Surja Kumar School, END Colony, Tarapur (CVC-1): Here, both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be given in this centre on 14 September.
8. Surja Kumar School, END Colony, Tarapur (CVC-2): Here, both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be given in this centre on 14 September.

Apart from this, COVAXIN will be provided in the following centre:

1. Urban PHC, Trunk Road, Near Annapurna Ghat:  Only 2nd dose (200 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration to those belonging to the 18 plus category. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covaxin will be given in this centre on 14 September.
