Covid vaccines to be administered at 9 centres in Silchar on 25 Nov

Nov. 24:  Dr Reema Patao, Medical Officer of Urban Family Welfare Unit, Silchar on Wednesday stated that on-spot vaccination session will take place at 8 centres in Silchar on Thursday where Covishield will be administered, whereas Covaxin will be provided at 01 centre. A total of 525 doses of Covishield and 100 doses of Covaxin will be administered on 25 November in Silchar town.

The 8 vaccination centres where Covishield will be provided are:

• SM Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar: Both 1st dose (75 shots) and 2nd dose (75 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 150 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 25 November.
• Sanjibini (104) office, Opposite Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Both 1st dose (75 shots) and 2nd dose (75 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 150 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 25 November.
• Malugram Girls High School: Both 1st dose (75 shots) and 2nd dose (75 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 150 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 25 November.
• Abhaya Charan Patshala, Sadarghat: Both 1st dose (75 shots) and 2nd dose (75 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 150 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 25 November.
• Govt Boys HS School:Both 1st dose (75 shots) and 2nd dose (75 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 150 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 25 November.
• Public HS School:Both 1st dose (75 shots) and 2nd dose (75 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 150 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 25 November.
• Netaji Vidya Bhavan Girls HS School:Both 1st dose (75 shots) and 2nd dose (75 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 150 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 25 November.
• Suhag Sundari School, Sonai Road: Both 1st dose (75 shots) and 2nd dose (75 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 150 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 25 November.

The vaccination centre where Covaxin will be provided is:

• Sanjibini (104) office, Opposite Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Both 1st dose (50 shots) and 2nd dose (50 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration on 25 November.
