Covid vaccines to be administered at 9 centres in Silchar on 3 Nov

Nov. 2:  Dr Reema Patao, Medical Officer of Urban Family Welfare Unit, Silchar on Tuesday stated that on-spot vaccination session will take place at 8 centres in Silchar on Wednesday where Covishield will be administered, whereas Covaxin will be provided at 01 centre. A total of 1,600 doses of Covishield and 150 doses of Covaxin will be administered on 3 November in Silchar town.

The 8 vaccination centres where Covishield will be provided are:

• SM Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 3 November.
• Sanjibini (104) office, Opposite Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 3 November.
• Gol Dight Mall, Nazirpatty: Both 1st dose (50 shots) and 2nd dose (50 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 100 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 3 November.
• Durga Sankar Patshala, Ambicapatty: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 3 November.
• Cachar College: Both 1st dose (50 shots) and 2nd dose (50 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 100 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 3 November.
• T.T College, Meherpur: Both 1st dose (50 shots) and 2nd dose (50 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 100 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 3 November.
• Radhamadhab College: Both 1st dose (50 shots) and 2nd dose (50 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 100 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 3 November.
• Lalita Das LP School, Graveyard Road: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 3 November.

The vaccination centre where Covaxin will be provided is:
