Covid vaccines to be administered at 10 centres in Silchar on 29 Nov
Nov. 28: Dr Reema Patao, Medical Officer of Urban Family Welfare Unit, Silchar on Sunday stated that on-spot vaccination session will take place at 9 centres in Silchar on Monday where Covishield will be administered, whereas Covaxin will be provided at 01 centre. A total of 950 doses of Covishield and 100 doses of Covaxin will be administered on 29 November in Silchar town.
The 9 vaccination centres where Covishield will be provided are:
- SM Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar: Both 1st dose (125 shots) and 2nd dose (125 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 150 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 29 November.
- Sanjibini (104) office, Opposite Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Both 1st dose (125 shots) and 2nd dose (125 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 250 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 29 November.
- Durga ShankarPatshala: Both 1st dose (75 shots) and 2nd dose (75 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 150 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 29 November.
- Mobile Team A (for bed-ridden patients)- Ward No 3: Both 1st dose (25 shots) and 2nd dose (35 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 60 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 29 November.
- Mobile Team B (for bed-ridden patients)- Ward No 1 & 4: Both 1st dose (25 shots) and 2nd dose (35 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 60 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 29 November.
- Mobile Team C (for bed-ridden patients)- Ward No 6,7 & 8: Both 1st dose (25 shots) and 2nd dose (35 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 60 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 29 November.
- Mobile Team D (for bed-ridden patients)- Ward No 19: Both 1st dose (25 shots) and 2nd dose (35 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 60 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 29 November.
- Mobile Team E (for bed-ridden patients)- Ward No 17 & 20: Both 1st dose (25 shots) and 2nd dose (35 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 60 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 29 November.
- Mobile Team F (for bed-ridden patients)- Ward No 1 & 2: Both 1st dose (25 shots) and 2nd dose (35 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 60 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 29 November.
The vaccination centre where Covaxin will be provided is:
- Sanjibini (104) office, Opposite Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Both 1st dose (50 shots) and 2nd dose (50 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration on 29 November.
