Covid vaccine to be given on call for bed-ridden patients & at Civil Hospital in Silchar on 24 Oct

Oct. 23: Dr Reema Patao, Medical Officer of Urban Family Welfare Unit, Silchar on Saturday stated that on-spot vaccination session will take place at two centres in Silchar on Sunday where Covishield will be administered. A total of 400 doses of Covishield will be administered on 24 October in Silchar town.

The 2 vaccination centres where Covishield will be provided are:

• SM Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 24 October.
• Mobile Team: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered by this team at Goldighi Mall. Further, this mobile team will also administer the vaccine on call for bed-ridden patients on 24 October.
