Covid vaccination drive for age group 18-44 to begin at 5 centres in Silchar from 7 May

May 7: Finally, the Covid-19 vaccination programme for those belonging to the age group of 18 to 44 years of age will be launched  in Silchar from 7 May, 2021 in 5 educational institutions of Silchar Urban area. This was informed by District Immunisation Officer of Cachar on Thursday. The 5 centres where the vaccination drive will take place from Friday are:

1. Chotolal Seth Institute, Shillongpatty, Silchar
2. Adharchand HS School, Ambicapatty, Silchar
3. Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phukan HS School, Silchar
4. Abhayacharan Bhattacharjee Patshala, Dhakaipatty, Silchar
5. Nazirpatty Model Primary School, Silchar.
