COVID count on Tuesday begins in Assam with 28 new cases, state tally rises to 1513
Active cases 1222 in Assam
June 2: The COVID-19 count on Tuesday began in Assam with 28 new positive cases. With this, the total number of coronavirus cases in Assam has gone upto 1513. However, out of 1513 patients, 1222 are active cases. Till now 284 persons have recovered in the state, while 4 of them have died. Sharing this information, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet also provided the break-up of the 28 new cases:
- 12 Nagaon
- 10 Golaghat
- 1 Jorhat
- 5 from Airport
