COVID-19 patient of Karimganj discharged from SMCH, total active cases 42 in Assam
May 15: On Friday, one COVID-19 patient was discharged from Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH) after he tested negative as per protocol. The said patient was from Karimganj district who was brought for treatment at SMCH. This takes the total tally of discharged patients to 41 in Assam.
Happy to share that one more #COVID19 patient, after testing negative successively, has been discharged from SMCH today taking the total recovered patients to 41.

Sharing this information, State Health Minister, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, Happy to share that one more #COVID19 patient, after testing negative successively, has been discharged from SMCH today taking the total recovered patients to 41.” Out of 86 total coronavirus patients in the state, 41 of them have already recovered and two of them died. One patient has migrated to Bihar. That means, at present, there are only 42 corona active patients in the state.
