Election to Red Cross Society of Hailakandi on 2 September

রেডক্রশ সোসাইটি-র হাইলাকা্ন্দি শাখার চেয়ারম্যান ও কার্যকরী সদস্যদের নির্বাচন আগামী ২ সেপ্টেম্বর অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। সকাল ১০টা রবীন্দ্রভবনে এই নির্বাচন অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। আসলে ভোটাভুটি হওয়ার কথা ছিল আগামীকাল, ১৯ আগস্ট। প্রাক্তন প্রধানমন্ত্রী অটলবিহারী বাজপেয়ীর মৃত্যুতে সাতদিনের রাষ্ট্রীয় শোক চলার দরুন তা পিছিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে সরকারি প্রেস বিবৃতিতে জানানো হয়েছে।

The election for the posts of Chairman and executive members of Red Cross Society of Hailakandi will take place on 2 September. The election will start at 10 AM at Rabindra Bhawan, Hailakandi. The said election was supposed to be held on August 19. However, due to the demise of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the central government has declared a 7 days national mourning. As such, the election of the Red Cross Society of Hailakandi has been deferred to 2 September. This was informed through a press release.
