Corona: Control Room set up in Cachar district under ADC Rajib Roy

March 15: District Administration Cachar has already taken up some precautionary measures to deal with the situation related to corona virus (COIVD-19) in the entire district.cIt is pertinent to mention that Corona virus infection (COIVD-19) has attained global proportions and already 75 different countries have reported cases of infection. In view of increasing number of COIVD-19 positive cases, the Government of Assam as per instruction of Government of India has initiated multiple steps to prevent the outbreak of corona virus in the state.

In order to combat any untoward situation, control room has been set up under DEOC-DDMA, Cachar. The control room will remain open 24×7 and for any guidance or help anyone may directly call the emergency help line number -1077 (toll free), 9401624141, 03842-239249.

Rajib Roy, ACS, Additional Deputy Commissioner cum CEO, DDMA will remain in charge of the control room set up at DDMA and he will be assisted by Shamim Ahmed Laskar, DPO, DDMA. This was stated in a press release issued by the Office of the Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations, Barak Zone Assam.
