Condition of COVID-19 patient at SMCH from Hailakandi alarming
করোনায় আক্রান্ত ফয়জুল আইসিইউতে

৯ এপ্রিল: হাইলাকান্দি জেলার আলগাপুরের করোনা রোগী ফয়জুল হক বড়ভুইয়ার শারীরিক অবস্থার অবনতি ঘটেছে৷ আচমকাই তিনি শ্বাস নিতে প্রচণ্ড কষ্ট বোধ করছেন৷ দ্রুত তাঁকে আইসিইউতে পাঠানো হয়৷ টুইট করে এই তথ্য দিয়েছেন রাজ্যের স্বাস্থ্যমন্ত্রী ড. হিমন্ত বিশ্ব শর্মা৷বিকাল তিনটায় তিনি জানান, তাঁর অন্য কোনও উপসর্গ দেখাই দেয়নি৷ কিন্তু শ্বাসকষ্টটা এতটাই যে, অক্সিজেন লাগানো হয়েছে৷

ষাটোর্ধ্ব ফয়জুল হকের শারীরিক অবস্থার অবনতির খবর পেযেই মেডিক্যল কলেজে কথা বলেন শিলচরের সাংসদ ডা. রাজদীপ রায়৷ তিনি ওয়েটুবরাক-কে জানান, ঘটনাটা চিন্তা বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছে৷ চিকিতসকরা সব ধরনের চেষ্টা করে চলেছেন৷ তাঁর নিউমোনিয়াল ইনফেকশন হয়েছে বলেই জানা গিয়েছে৷

প্রসঙ্গত, ফয়জুল হক বড়ভুইয়া সস্ত্রীক উমরাহ হজে গিয়েছিলেন৷ ফেরার পথে জেড্ডা থেকে মুম্বাইয়ে নামেন৷  সে দিনই চলে যান দি্ল্লিতে৷  নিজামুদ্দিন এলাকাতেই এক হোটেলে দুইদিন থাকেন৷ যান মরকজের জমায়েতেও৷  সেখান থেকে ১৮ মার্চ হাইলাকান্দি জেলার আলগাপুরের বাড়িতে ফেরেন৷  ছিলেন হোম কোয়রান্টাইনে৷ প্রথম ১৪ দিনে তাঁর দেহে করোনার সংক্রমণ ধরা পড়েনি৷ তবু তাঁকে আরও ১৪ দিন কোয়রান্টাইনে থাকতে বলা হয়েছিল৷ এর  কয়দিনের মধ্যেই গত মঙ্গলবার লালারস পরীক্ষায় পজিটিভ ধরা পড়ে৷ এর আগে পর্যন্ত তিনি নিজাম যোগের কথা গোপন করেছিলেন৷

April 9: The condition of the 28th case (from Hailakandi) of COVID-19 from Assam is alarming, though his other parameters are stable his oxygen saturation is decreasing. This was tweeted by State Health Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday afternoon. He further informed that the patient has been shifted to ICU of Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH) for better monitoring.

Silchar MP Dr. Rajdeep Roy also retweeted the post of the health minister and wrote, “The patient is under continuous monitoring by the ICU staff.”

It needs mention here that the person from Algapur in Hailakandi district of Assam was tested positive for coronavirus on 7 April and since then he was undergoing treatment at SMCH. The man had a travel history from Saudi Arabia but he also went to Markaz Nizamuddin, now regarded as the hot-bed of coronavirus. Till now, there are 28 COVID-19 positive patients in Assam.
