Computer Traders Association gives relief to 300 needy families
April 29: Once again, the Barak Valley Computer Traders Association came forward and distributed food commodities among those people who are in great distress due to the ongoing lockdown augmented by the outbreak of coronavirus. On two consecutive days, the members of the association distributed grocery items.
On Tuesday, relief was distributed among 200 poor and needy families residing near Madhura Quarry. On Wednesday also, the members of the association distributed dry grocery items among 100 families at Barsinga Tea Estate in Ambatilla. In two days, they gave relief to a total of 300 families. The grocery items which they gave include rice 5kg, dal 2kg, potato 2kg and salt 1 packet. Further, each one of them were given a soap for washing hands. The people were also explained how to maintain hygiene.
Present during the relief distribution were Saikat Dey, Ajay Agarwal, Prahlad Saha, Abhijit Dutta, Nihar Purkayastha, Arunodoy Bhattacharjee and Sushil Agarwal.
