Commercial cooking gas becomes costlier by ₹250

April 1: From April 1, commercial LPG cylinder has become more expensive as the price of commercial liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) or cooking gas has been increased by Rs 250 per 19-kilogram cylinder. In the past two months, the price of a 19-kg LPG cylinder price hiked by Rs 346/cylinder. Earlier on March 1, the rate of a 19 kg commercial cylinder was increased by ₹105 and then on March 22, its price was reduced by Rs 9.

However, from today it will cost Rs 2,253 in Delhi. Whereas, in Kolkata, a consumer will have to shell out Rs 2,351 for a 19-kg cylinder instead of Rs 2,087, and in Mumbai, it will cost Rs 2,205 from Rs 1,955 from today to purchase a 19-kg cooking gas cylinder. However, the domestic LPG cylinder rates and petrol and diesel prices were kept unchanged on Friday.
