College teacher Souradeep granted bail
সৌরদীপের জামিন মঞ্জুর

৩ মার্চ: মঙ্গলবার কলেজশিক্ষক সৌরদীপ সেনগুপ্তের জামিন মঞ্জুর হয়েছে৷ ১৫ হাজার টাকার বন্ডে তাঁকে ছাড়তে নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন শিলচরের চিফ জুডিশিয়াল ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট৷ সঙ্গে শর্ত জুড়েছেন, অনুমতি ছাড়া তিনি কাছাড় জেলার বাইরে যেতে পারবেন না৷

মামলার তদন্তের কাজে পুলিশকে সহযোগিতা করতেও নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়েছে তাঁকে৷ সৌরদীপের পক্ষে আদালতে লড়েন আইনজীবী নীলাদ্রি রায় ও অসমঞ্জ বিশ্বাস৷ বিরোধিতা করেন আইনজীবী রত্নাঙ্কুর ভট্টাচার্য৷

March 3: The bail plea of college teacher Souradeep Sengupta was granted. He was arrested after a formal complaint was lodged with Silchar police on charges of controversial Facebook post. On Tuesday, Souradeep was granted bail as against a bond of Rs. 15,000 by the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) of Silchar.

However, the CJM made it clear that Souradeep cannot leave Cachar district without valid permission. He was also directed to cooperate with the police during the investigation of the case by the police. Souradeep’s case was argued by Advocate Niladri Roy and Advocate Asamanju Biswas.
