দুর্বল ছাত্র চিহ্নিত করে তাদের জন্য খাটতে অধ্যাপকদের বললেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রীCM urges college teachers to play proactive role in the development of human resources
মুখ্যমন্ত্রী এ দিন বেশ কয়েকবার প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদীর কথা উল্লেখ করেন। তিনি বলেন, মোদি দিনে ১৮ ঘণ্টা কাজ করেন। তাঁর পরিশ্রমের ফলেই আজ বিশ্বে ভারতের মর্যাদা বেড়ে চলেছে। তাঁর কথায়, মোদি প্রমাণ করে দিয়েছেন, কঠোর পরিশ্রমের মাধ্যমেই সাফল্য আসে। সফলতার কোনও ফাঁড়িপথ নেই। আর মাতাপিতা ও শিক্ষকদের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধাভক্তি থাকতে হবে।
মোদি উত্তর-পূর্বের প্রতি বিশেষ দৃষ্টি দিয়েছেন বলে দাবি করেন সোনোয়াল। এখন শিক্ষকদের দায়িত্ব নিয়ে পড়াতে হবে। মনে রাখতে হবে, তাঁরা মানবসম্পদ সৃষ্টির মহান কাজে ব্যাপৃত রয়েছেন।
শিক্ষাদান যে এক পবিত্র পেশা, সে কথা উল্লেখ করে মুখ্যমন্ত্রী বলেন, সে জন্যই শিক্ষকদের সমাজ বিশেষ নজরে দেখে। কলেজ শিক্ষকদের সমস্যা নিয়ে আলোচনার আহ্বান জানান। তিনি যতদিন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী পদে রয়েছেন, ততদিন মানুষের কোনও ভালো কাজ আটকে যেতে দেবেন না। তবে শিক্ষকদেরও খেয়াল রাখতে হবে ছাত্রদের দিকে। তিনি দুর্বল ছাত্রদের চিহ্নিত করে তাদের জন্য বিশেষভাবে খাটতে পরামর্শ দেন।
সর্বানন্দের দাবি, তাঁর সরকার অসমের শিক্ষাক্ষেত্রের উন্নতির লক্ষ্যে কাজ করে চলেছে। গুণোতসব ছিল এরই অঙ্গ।
The Chief Minister was addressing the 65th Annual Conference of Assam College Teachers’ Association (ACTA) at B. Borooah College, Guwahati on Sunday. He also called upon the students to work hard because being laborious is the only way through which they can taste success in life.
He referred multiple times to the works of development undertaken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and exalted the teachers to shape the students so that they can fulfill the dreams of the PM. Sonowal said, “PM Modi has created a new narrative for the 8 states of North East India.
The Chief Minister praised the college teachers as the most brilliant group and also said that teaching is one of the noble profession. He further said that the teachers should identify the weak students and strive hard so that these students can also fare well in life. He said, Idle people have no place in this world.”
As regards ACTA, CM Sonowal said, “ACTA must make its presence visible before the people of this state. He asked the leaders of ACTA to approach the concerned department of the state government and seek land for building an auditorium in Guwahati which would be a meeting place for the academic minds.
The session was also attended by Prof. Mihir Choudhury, Advisor of Higher Education Department, Govt of Assam, President of ACTA Biswajit Bhuyan, General Secretary Himangshu Moral among others. It was a four-day annual conference of ACTA which started on June 27 and came to an end on 30 June.
