CM Sonowal directs to fill up existing vacancies in different state govt departments

Dec.17: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal asked the heads of the departments concerned to fill up the existing vacancies in different departments of the state government on an urgent basis so that the youths can get employment. CM Sonowal presided over a meeting held at Janata Bhavan with Secretariat Administration Department and General Administration Department on Thursday. He also reviewed the progress of various projects in Sports and Youth Welfare Department with the senior officers of Assam Govt. at Janata Bhawan.

The Chief Minister asked the Chief Secretary and other functionaries to take steps for filling up the vacancies on a mission mode. Sonowal asked his officials to recruit all sanctioned government posts which are at present lying vacant.
