CM directs Finance deptt to resolve retirement gratuity issue of state govt employees

Nov. 21: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal held a meeting with Sadou Asom Karmachari Parishad (SAKP) representatives at Janata Bhawan in Guwahati on Saturday along with Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The meeting was also attended by top level bureaucrats. A gamut of issues related to the welfare of the state government issues were discussed in the meeting.

The prime issue which was discussed during the day was that of delay caused in disbursing retirement gratuity of the employees. The Chief Minister directed the Assam Finance Department to expeditiously work on resolving the retirement gratuity issue of state government employees.
