1,275 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Monday, 19 deaths registered

Aug 2: On Monday, out of 1,76,197 tests, 1,275 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 5,68,257. The positivity rate in the state is 0.72 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 209 positive cases during the day. Further, on Monday, 19 more persons lost their lives in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 5,294. The recovery rate is 96.88 percent.

It needs mention here that on Monday, 784 persons tested positive in Assam and 15 deaths were registered.
