Chief Justice of India visits Kamakhya temple, offer prayers
Dec. 20: On Sunday morning, Chief Justice of India (CJI) Sharad Arvind Bobde came to Assam and went to Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati. There at Kamakhya, he offered prayers as per rituals. CJI Bobde, has come to Assam on a two-day visit. He will be attending an event on protection of wildlife for judicial officers of Assam.
On Saturday, CJI Bobde addressed an orientation programme on the protection of wildlife being organized by the Judicial Academy, Assam in collaboration with WWF-India at the Assam Administrative Staff College in Guwahati. Bobde is also scheduled to visit Kaziranga National Park. The CJI will also be visiting Mizoram and Tripura before leaving for Delhi.
