১ এপ্রিল: ছেলে বলছিলেন, ‘চিকিৎসার প্রয়োজনে দিল্লি গিয়েছিলেন বাবা৷ নিজামউদ্দিন মরকজের ধারেকাছেও যাননি৷ একবার শুধু জামা মসজিদে গিয়ে নামাজে অংশ নিয়েছিলেন৷’ পরিবারেরই আরেক সূত্র বলছিলেন, ‘তিনি গিয়েছিলেন একটু ব্যবসার কাজে৷ কাপড়ের দোকান আছে তো!’

মন্ত্রী হিমন্ত বিশ্ব শর্মা আজ স্পষ্ট করে দেন, বদরপুরের জামাল উদ্দিনের পরিবার তথ্য গোপন করেছিলেন৷ তিনি স্রেফ তবলিগের কাজে দিল্লি গিয়েছিলেন৷ ৫ মার্চ আগরতলা-দিল্লি রাজধানী এক্সপ্রেসে বদরপুর স্টেশন থেকে দিল্লি গিয়েছিলেন৷ ১১ মার্চ গুয়াহাটি পৌঁছান৷ মধ্যবর্তী সময়টা নিজামুদ্দিনেই ছিলেন৷ ফলে নিজাম সূত্রেই যে করোনা ভাইরাসের বাহক হয়েছেন জামালউদ্দিন, তাও মন্ত্রী স্পষ্ট করে দিয়েছেন৷

However, on Wednesday, Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma made it clear that the family of corona infected man from Badarpur (in Karimganj district) was lying. The minister categorically stated that the man went just to attend Tablighi Jamaat. He boarded the Agartala – Delhi Rajdhani Express from Badarpur on 5 March and went to the capital city. He came back to Guwahati on 11 March. In between, he was in Nizamuddin. As such, the minister clarified that he was contaminated with coronavirus from Nizamuddin Markaz.
