Ceremonial distribution of appointment letters of 803 new Asstt Professors to take place in Guwahati on 23 Sept

way2barak, Sept.19: The Government of Assam, Higher Education Department has prepared appointment letters in respect of 803 Assistant Professors/ Librarian/ Grade-IV of Cotton University/ Bhattadev University and various Provincialised Colleges/ PDUAM/ Govt. Model Colleges of Assam. The appointment letters will be ceremonially distributed on 23 September, 2022 at Veterinary College Playground, Khanapara, Guwahati. This was stated in a letter issued by the Director of Higher Education (DHE), Assam to the college and university Principals on 19 September.

DHE Assam further asked the Principals to attend the Ceremonial Distribution and also to intimate the selected candidates their University/ College to attend the Ceremonial function along with Identity Proof i.e. Pan Card/ Aadhaar Card/ Voter I.D. on 23rd September, 2022 in Guwahati before 10:00 A.M. positively for receiving of their appointment letter.

Out of the 803 new Assistant Professors, 48 of them were appointed from the three districts of Barak Valley. The appointments made in the colleges of Barak Valley are:

4. MCD College, Sonai: 02
5. Radhamadhab College, Silchar: 03
6. Lala Rural College: 02
7. PDUGMC: 06
8. SS College, Hailakandi: 03
9. Karimganj College, Karimganj: 08
10. NC College, Badarpur: 01
11. Patharkandi College: 01
12. PDUAM, Eraligool: 08
13. RS Girls College, Karimganj: 02
