Centre in-charges who have 400+ candidates to select nearby institution for HS Final Exam
June 9: The ongoing coronavirus pandemic resulted in cancellation of Class XII examinations by CBSE and 14 other state boards. However, Assam Education Minister Dr Ranoj Pegu has categorically stated that both the HSCL and HS Examinations will definitely be held in the state. In order to maintain safety protocols during the conduct of exams, certain measures needs to be adopted. In this connection, a letter was issued by the state Higher Secondary Council to the HS Schools/Colleges who will be conducting the Class XII Final exam.
Moving ahead in the direction of conducting the HS Final Examinations, Pankaj Borthakur, Controller of Examinations of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) wrote a letter to all the Examination Centres in-charge of HS Final Exam, 2021 on 9 June. In the letter, the Controller of Examinations of AHSEC wrote, “It is for your kind information that Assam Higher Secondary Education Council is going to conduct Higher Secondary Final Examination, 21 in the month of July / August, 2021. So, all the Exam Centres In Charges of HS Final Year Exam, 2021, who have more than 400 (Four Hundred) candidates are advised to take any nearby Govt. / Provincialized academic Institutions as venues for maintaining Covid Protocol.”
