Cattle smugglers attack & injure BSF jawan along Indo-Bangla border

Jan. 14: In a shocking incident, a BSF jawan was brutally attacked by cattle smugglers along the India- Bangladesh border in Assam’s South Salmara-Mankachar district. The BSF jawan identified as CT Bikash Kumar was attacked on his forehead with bamboo sticks when he tried to prohibit a group of 20-25 cattle smugglers involved in action on both the sides of the international border. After hitting the jawan, the smugglers ran away by taking advantage of the dense fog.
