Cachar Police recovers suspected heroine along with ₹2 lakh cash, 1 nabbed

April 22: The war against narcotics launched by Assam Police is still continuing. On Wednesday night, Cachar Police on the basis of secret information raided the house of one Abdul Sukkur at Karkat Basti in Dholai district of Cachar. During the raid, police recovered 10 gram of suspected heroin along with Rs 2 lakh cash. Apart from this, around 380 contraband tablets were also recovered by the police.

Cachar Police also arrested a youth in this connection. The youth, identified as Abdul Shukkur was apprehended for being involved in the business of narcotics.
