Cachar Police arrests gang of 4 on charges of stealing mobile phones

Aug. 9: On the basis of a secret information, in-charge of Dwarbond Police Investigating Centre arrested four persons on charges of stealing mobile phones. Four stolen mobile phones were recovered by the police from their custody. Further, Rs. 2,000 in cash was also recovered. All of them are residents of village Mainspur, Rosekandy TE, Cachar. Further investigation into the matter is carried on by the police.

The four arrested were identified as: Babu Roy- 22 years, S/O- Mantu Roy; Shiva Roy-20 years, S/O- Late Mantu Roy; Sanju Ree-19 years, S/O- Babudhan Ree and Amrit Roy-20 years, S/O- Late Mantu Roy.
