Cachar Police arrests duo, recovers 200 gm suspected brown sugar from their possession

Aug. 19: Acting on a tip-off, Sub- Inspector (P) Pranjal Lakra and staff of Dholai Police Station arrested two persons on charges of possessing drugs. The arrested duo was identified as Tapan Sarma (35 years) and Jayanta Roy (40years). Police recovered 200 grams suspected brown sugar from their possession. Further investigation into the matter is on.
