Cachar bags best performance award for identification of malnourished children

November 10: Cachar district has been awarded for best performance by the state government in identification of severely and moderately malnourished children during Poshan Maah. Expressing her delight,  Laya Madduri,  Deputy Commissioner said, “This was possible due close coordination between health and social welfare departments. They identified the parents of malnourished children and counselled to provide nutritious diet to children to combat malnourishment.”

ADC Sumit Sattavan, IAS received the award from the Chief Minister on behalf of Poshan Abhiyaan team of the district.
