Cachar administration releases details of stock & price of essential commodities

May 18: Since the last two days, Cachar District Administration has been seen to issue strict instructions so that shopkeepers do not hike the prices of essential commodities. On Wednesday, the district administration has released details of stock and price of wholesale and retails of the selected essential commodities as submitted by the Food Grains Merchant Association.

Deputy Commissioner, Cachar stated, “Please do not encourage unscrupulous businessman by buying vegetables and food products at a higher price. Report such activities on 7002178162 ( helpline ).”
