Business during Pandemic discussed at the 3rd LinkedIn local Guwahati

December 26: LinkedIn Local Successfully hosted the third edition at Guwahati on the 26th of December at Awesome Palace. The event was scheduled in March but got canceled due to Covid19. The prime focus of the event was to put on networking and from there a discussion on “Business during the pandemic and ways to survive and sustain”.

Linkedin Local Guwahati has been organizing such networking event bi-annually since 2019. After months of operating online and running an online poll, 26th December was finally decided as the date safe enough for the faces behind the LinkedIn profiles to come together under one roof for an engaging evening.

Syed Mohsin Raja, the city host started the evening with a famous quote by Michele Jennae “Networking is not about just connecting people. It’s about connecting people with people, people with an idea, and people with opportunities”. He then proceeded to welcome all the attendees and introduced the proceedings of the event

Subhankar Banerjee, Founder and Director of Seven Sense Communication and PR Partner of LinkedIn Local Guwahati on the occasion said, “We have successfully hosted the 3rd edition, in the upcoming editions we will try our best to move on to other cities of Assam and North East under the banner of Linkedin Local Guwahati, we will try to connect more people from different industry and our motive behind this is to bring everyone under one umbrella which will turn to be fruitful for everyone.

As many as over 40 professionals from different industries joined the event and shared the hurdles and success they came across during this pandemic, and how it affected each one of them. The motive of the evening was to share and grow together offline through meaningful interactions and from the looks of it, the event seemed to be a success.

LinkedIn Local Guwahati is planning to host their upcoming events in cities like Tezpur, Shillong, Jorhat, etc to connect the entire northeastern states under one banner.
