Boat race competition held in Silchar on the occasion of Independence Day

Aug. 15: On the occasion of 76th Independence Day, a boat race competition was organised at River Barak in Silchar. The competition was organised by Cachar Sporting Club, Madhurbond, Silchar. The event was graced by Minister of Transport, Excise & Fisheries, Parimal Shuklavaidya, Silchar MLA Dipayan Chakraborty, Deputy Commissioner Rohan Kumar Jha among others.

Expressing his views, Minister Parimal Chakraborty said, “Attended a boat racing competition on the occasion of Independence Day today organised by Cachar Sporting Club at Madhurbond, Silchar. Silchar MLA Shri Dipayan Chakraborty & other dignitaries were present at this colourful event.”
