Binoy Paul from Barak Valley makes place in top 5 entries of write-up on Srimanta Sankardeva organised by Assam Govt
way2barak, Oct.22: Assam government had organised a competition of write-up on Srimanta Sankardeva. Out of hundreds of entries sent from various parts of the country, 5 write-ups were selected as the best by the committee formed for this purpose by the state government. Out of the 5 best entries, Dr Binoy Paul, an alumni of Assam University, Silchar and a resident of Hailakandi district in Assam carved a place for himself. He is also the Treasurer of Silchar Unit of Bangla Sahitya Sabha, Asom.
The other 4 winners are Farul Hussain from Bongaigaon, Bulu Kalita from Nagaon, Sandeep Kumar from Farrukhabad (UP) and Jahnavi Gujral from Bhopal (MP).
