CRU appeals to DC Cachar to bring back Sales Representatives stranded in Mizoram
মিজোরামে আটকে অমিজো রিপ্রেজেন্টিটিভরা, উদ্বেগে সিআরইউ

ওয়েটুবরাক, ৩১ জুলাই : বহু অমিজো মেডিক্যাল অ্যান্ড সেলস্ রিপ্রেজেন্টেটিভ মিজোরামে আটকা পড়েছেন। অত্যন্ত মানসিক চাপ এবং ভয়ের মধ্যে তাঁরা রয়েছেন। মেডিক্যাল অ্যান্ড সেলস্ রিপ্রেজেন্টেটিভদের ইউনিয়ন  সিআরইউ-র দাবি, অতিসত্বর জেলা প্রশাসন যেন নিরাপত্তার ব্যবস্থা করে তাদের শিলচরে নিয়ে আসে।

আজ শনিবার শিলচরের জেলাশাসকের কাছে সিআরইউ এক স্মারকপত্র প্রেরণ করে। স্মারকপত্রে বলা হয়, গত ২৬ জুলাই আসাম মিজোরাম সীমান্তের লায়লাপুরে সংঘটিত ঘটনার পর থেকে তাঁরা এবং তাঁদের পরিবারের সদস্যরা উৎকণ্ঠায় রয়েছেন৷ উদ্বেগে সিআরইউর প্রতিটি সহকর্মী৷

জেলাশাসক ছাড়াও দুই রাজ্যের সিএমও এবং এইচএমও-র কাছেও তাঁরা স্মারকপত্র পাঠান৷ শিলচর সফররত সিপিএম বিধায়ক মনোরঞ্জন তালুকদারের সাথে দেখা করে তাঁর কাছেও সিআরইউ দাবি জানায়, তিনি যেন আসামের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী এবং উচ্চস্তরের প্রশাসনিক কর্তাদের সাথে এব্যাপারে কথা বলে মিজোরামে আটকে পড়া অমিজো মেডিক্যাল অ্যান্ড সেলস্ রিপ্রেজেন্টেটিভদের ফিরিয়ে আনার ব্যবস্থা করেন।

July 31: After the violence at Lailapur in Assam- Mizoram border on 26 July in which Mizo forces brutally killed 6 Assam Police personnel, a tensed environment is prevailing over there. Meanwhile, a number of non-Mizo Sales Representatives who were there in Mizoram in professional assignments have got stranded there. These people are passing their days in tremendous mental agony. This was stated by Saraswat Malakar, District Secretary of Silchar District committee of Centre of Medical & Sales Representatives’ Union (CRU), North East Region (NER) while speaking to way2barak on Saturday.

Saraswat Malakar stated, “We have today submitted a memorandum to the Additional Deputy Commissioner in the absence of DC Cachar, wherein we have urged upon the district administration to bring back those fellow colleagues who have got struck in Mizoram and are in great tension. They are unable to come back due to non- availability of any means of communication. We appealed to the district administration to devise ways and means so that these Sales Representatives could be brought back safely over here.”

“Many of the Sales representatives who are now stranded in Mizoram called us and informed that they are facing problem of food items. Even their family members are in panic. So we urge upon our Deputy Commissioner to bring them back with full security. We have also given a copy of the same memorandum to the Chief Secretaries of Assam and Mizoram. Further, a copy was also forwarded to the PMO,” added Mr Malakar.
