৭ ই মার্চ: করোনা ভাইরাসের সংক্রমণ এড়াতে কাছাড় জেলা প্রশাসন বেশ কিছু সতর্কতামূলক ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করেছে৷ এর মধ্যে রয়েছে, খোলা বাজার অঞ্চলে মাংস, মাছ, ফলমূল, শাকসব্জির অপ্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবহার এবং বেচাকেনা নিষিদ্ধ৷ কাছাড় জেলা প্রশাসন অবৈধভাবে মাংস, মাছ, কাটা ফল, শাকসবজি এবং উন্মুক্ত অঞ্চলে আধা রান্না করা খাবারের উপরও নিষেধাজ্ঞা জারি করেছে।
জনগণের বৃহত্তর স্বার্থে কাছাড় জেলা প্রশাসন দুর্যোগ ব্যবস্থাপনা আইন ২০০৫-এর ৩০ নং ধারার বিধান অনুসারে এই আদেশ জারি করা হয়েছে৷ এই আইন লঙ্ঘন করলে দুর্যোগ ব্যবস্থাপনা আইনেএর ৫১নং ধারা অনুযায়ী ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হবে বলে তথ্য ও জনসংযোগ উপ-সঞ্চালকের কার্যালয় থেকে এক প্রেস বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়েছে।
District Administration Cachar has already taken up some precautionary measures to deal with the situation related to corona virus infections disease (COIVD-19) in the entire district.
In order to combat and check the augment of this deadly virus, some immediate provisions have been implemented in Cachar district. As a part of precautionary measures, selling of unhygienic meat, fish, fruits, vegetables in the open market areas by the street vendors are prohibited by the District Administration Cachar.
Prohibitory order on illegally wet market, meat, fish, chopped fruits, vegetables and semi cooked foods in open areas are also enforced.

As per provisions laid down in Section 30 of the Disaster Management Act 2005, this order is issued by the District Administration Cachar in the greater interest of public. Any violation of this Act will be dealt as per section 51 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
