গবেষণার মান ও সংস্কৃতি আরও সুদৃঢ় করার লক্ষ্যে কর্মশালা শুরু আউটার

ওয়ে টু বরাক, ১০ ফেব্রুয়ারি : শিক্ষক-গবেষকদের মধ্যে গবেষণার মান ও সংস্কৃতি আরও সুদৃঢ় করার লক্ষ্যে আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় শিক্ষক সংস্থার (আউটা) উদ্যোগে সোমবার থেকে শুরু হয়েছে শিক্ষক দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন কর্মসূচি ও কর্মশালা। “শক্তিশালী অনুষদ গবেষণা ও উন্নয়ন প্রোফাইল গঠনের রূপরেখা” শীর্ষক বিষয়ের ওপর আয়োজিত এই কর্মশালা চলবে ১৪ ফেব্রুয়ারি পর্যন্ত। এদিন সকালে বিপিনচন্দ্র পাল মিলনায়তনে এই কর্মশালার আনুষ্ঠানিক উদ্বোধনের পর স্বাগত বক্তব্য রাখেন শিক্ষক সংস্থার সচিব ড. অমিত কুমার দাস।

অনুষ্ঠানে অধ্যাপক পীযূষ পান্ডে বলেন, শক্তিশালী গবেষণা চর্চা শুধু ব্যক্তিগত শিক্ষাগত উৎকর্ষের জন্যই নয়, বরং শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানকে উদ্ভাবন ও জ্ঞান সৃষ্টির প্রাণকেন্দ্রে পরিণত করার জন্য অপরিহার্য। অধ্যাপক চিররঞ্জন ভট্টাচার্য গবেষণাভিত্তিক সংস্কৃতি, অভিজ্ঞতার দিকনির্দেশনা ও পারস্পরিক সহযোগিতামূলক নেটওয়ার্কের গুরুত্বের ওপর আলোকপাত করেন। ন্যাশনাল ইনস্টিটিউট অব এডভান্স স্টাডিজের বিশিষ্ট অধ্যাপক ললিত মোহন পটনায়ক শিক্ষার গুণগত মানোন্নয়ন ও শিক্ষাগত উৎকর্ষ নিয়ে আলোচনা করেন।

উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে অনলাইনে যোগ দেন প্রখ্যাত শিক্ষাবিদ অধ্যাপক অনিল সহস্রবুদ্ধে। তিনি উচ্চশিক্ষায় শিক্ষকদের ভূমিকা নিয়ে বক্তব্য রাখতে গিয়ে নবীন ও অভিজ্ঞ শিক্ষকদের মধ্যে সহযোগিতামূলক পরিবেশ গড়ে তোলা, গবেষণা অনুদানের সুযোগ অনুসন্ধান এবং গবেষণালব্ধ ভাবনাকে সমাজকল্যাণমূলক কর্মকাণ্ডে রূপান্তরের ওপর গুরুত্ব আরোপ করেন।

কলকাতার ইন্ডিয়ান স্ট্যাটিসটিক্যাল ইনস্টিটিউটের অবসরপ্রাপ্ত অধ্যাপক ভবতোষ চন্দ বর্তমান বিশ্বের প্রেক্ষাপটে উচ্চশিক্ষার পরিবর্তিত ভূমিকা নিয়ে আলোচনা করেন এবং গবেষণাকে নিরবচ্ছিন্ন শিক্ষালাভ, কৌতূহল ও সামাজিক দায়বদ্ধতার এক চলমান যাত্রা হিসেবে দেখার আহ্বান জানান। উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক রাজীব মোহন পন্থ শিক্ষক সংস্থার এই উদ্যোগের প্রশংসা করেন।

সভাপতি ড. অমলেন্দু চক্রবর্তী বলেন, এই শিক্ষক দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন কর্মসূচির মূল লক্ষ্য হল সমালোচনামূলক চিন্তন, উদ্ভাবনী শিক্ষাদান পদ্ধতি এবং আন্তঃবিষয়ক আলোচনা ও সহযোগিতাকে উৎসাহিত করা। কর্মশালার সমন্বয়ক ড. সোমনাথ মুখোপাধ্যায় সকল বক্তা, অতিথি, সহকর্মী ও অংশগ্রহণকারীদের প্রতি আন্তরিক কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করেন। উল্লেখ্য, এই কর্মসূচিতে মোট ৭০ জন শিক্ষক অংশ নিচ্ছেন।

Way2barak, February 10 : With the objective of further strengthening the quality and culture of research among teachers and researchers, the Assam University Teachers’ Association (AUTA) on Monday launched a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) and Workshop. The programme, titled “A Roadmap on Building a Strong Faculty R&D Profile,” will continue until February 14. The workshop was formally inaugurated at the Bipin Chandra Pal Auditorium, where the welcome address was delivered by AUTA Secretary Dr Amit Kumar Das.

Addressing the gathering, Prof Piyush Pandey stated that a strong research culture is not only essential for individual academic excellence but also for transforming educational institutions into hubs of innovation and knowledge creation. Prof. Chiroranjan Bhattacharjee highlighted the importance of a research-oriented culture, experiential guidance, and collaborative networks. Eminent scholar Prof. Lalit Mohan Patnaik from the National Institute of Advanced Studies spoke on quality enhancement in education and academic excellence.

The inaugural session was graced online by renowned educationist Prof. Anil Sahasrabudhe as the chief guest. Speaking on the role of teachers in higher education, he emphasized fostering collaboration between young and experienced faculty members, exploring opportunities for research grants, and translating research ideas into activities beneficial to society. Prof. Bhavatosh Chandra of the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, discussed the changing role of higher education in the contemporary world and called upon academics to view research as a continuous journey of learning, curiosity, and social responsibility. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rajive Mohan Pant appreciated the initiative taken by the Teachers’ Association.

Presiding over the programme, Dr Amalendu Chakraborty said that the primary objective of the FDP is to encourage critical thinking, innovative teaching practices, and interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration. Workshop Coordinator Dr Somnath Mukhopadhyay expressed sincere gratitude to all speakers, guests, colleagues, and participants. Notably, a total of 70 teachers are participating in the programme.
