Assembly Elections, 2021: Video viewing teams constituted in Cachar

March 12: In view of the ensuing Assembly Elections, 2021, constituency wise video viewing teams have been constituted under EEMC in Cachar. Issuing an order to this effect, Deputy Commissioner Cachar and District Election officer Cachar, Keerthi Jalli stated that the video viewing teams will submit the video recording and reports related to sensitive event videographed by the Video Surveillance team to the concerned cell on the same day.

It may be mentioned that 4 video viewing teams have been constituted in Cachar and the officers detailed for duty in the Silchar and Sonai is Karuna Thakuria. Mohammad Hussain Barbhuiya will be in charge of Dholai and Udharbandh. Jayanta Rajkonwar will be in charge of Lakhipur and Borkhola . Nilotpal Chakraborty will be in charge of Katigorah.
