Daily yoga practices for wellness : 5-Day Workshop by Niramaya at AUS NSS Camp
Dr. Ajit emphasized the importance of regular practices.

Way2barak, April 23 : Niramaya Yoga Shiksha Sansthan, Silchar, concluded a 5-day yoga programme at the Assam University NSS special camp on Wednesday. The camp was held at the Harintila Community Hall, adjacent to Bairagitila.
As part of Niramay’s “Yoga Chetana Mahotsav”, the program included sessions on “Daily Yoga Practices for Students” and “Daily Yoga Practices for Wellness.” NSS volunteers and students participated in various yoga practices, including asanas, pranayama, mudras, and meditation.

Dr. Ajit Kumar Bhattacharjee, Chairman of Niramaya, emphasized the importance of regular yoga practice, recommending 30 minutes of yoga daily to keep the body and mind healthy and active. Dr. Bhattacharjee appreciated the positive initiative taken by Dr. M. Gangabhushan, NSS Program Coordinator at Assam University, which enabled students from different levels to participate in yoga practices.
Niramay’s Director, Shatakshi Bhattacharjee, also highlighted the organization’s commitment to collaborating with NSS in the future to promote yoga education. She said, the workshop aimed to promote health awareness among the local community, particularly in remote areas. By conducting regular yoga sessions and workshops, Niramaya and NSS hope to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills to maintain physical and mental well-being.
