Assam University suspends all exams & meetings for 4 days due to NAAC visit

Sept 14: The The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) peer team will be visiting Assam University, Silchar on 15, 16 & 17 September, 2021 for the purpose re-accreditation. As such, the University has decided to to suspend all examinations and meetings related to Admissions or any other matter other than NAAC during 14 to 17 September, 2021. This was stated in a notice issued by Dr P.K. Nath, Registrar of Assam University.

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council is a government organization in India that assesses and accredits Higher Education Institutions. It is an autonomous body funded by the University Grants Commission and headquartered in Bangalore.
