Assam University agrees to take TDC final sem exam in both online & offline mode

Sept. 14: In a latest development, Assam University, Silchar has agreed to conduct the forthcoming TDC non-CBCS Final Semester examination in both offline and online mode. The examinations will commence from 29 September, 2020 and will continue till 19 October, 2019. This was confirmed by a source in the varsity on condition of anonymity. The source further revealed that the decision of conducting the examination in blended mode (online & offline) was taken in an emergent meeting of the Standing Committee of Academic Council held on Monday, which was attended by Principals of various colleges and representatives of the College Teachers’ Association. However, the modalities of the online examinations were not known as yet. The university will come up with detailed guideline regarding conduct of online exam very soon.

It needs mention here that from the past few days, students have been agitating in front of various colleges of Barak valley demanding online mode of examination during the ongoing pandemic.
