Assam TET Result 2019 of LP & UP declaredঅসমের ২০১৯ সালের প্রাথমিক ও উচ্চ প্রাথমিক টেট পরীক্ষার ফলাফল ঘোষিত
December 31: The results of the TET, 2019 was declared in its official website on Tuesday. In Paper I, a total of 2,18,164 appeared, wherein 18,906 candidates were declared qualified. In Paper II, 1,58,645 candidates appeared out of which 15,304 were declared successful.
The candidates who have qualified the Paper I are eligible to be a teacher for Lower Primary level (classes I to V) and the candidates who have qualified the Paper II are eligible to be a teacher for Upper Primary Level (Classes VI to VIII). At present, 10,137 posts in the lower primary level and 7,155 posts in the upper primary level are lying vacant.

After a gap of seven years, Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) was held in the state of Assam on 10 November, 2019. This is the first TET examination that had been held in the State after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came to power. The examination held in 33 districts of the state was appeared by nearly 4 lakh candidates.
