Assam Rifles kickstarts pre-recruitment training drive for village youths

way2barak, Nov.24: To achieve the motto of ‘winning hearts & minds of local populace’ and to motivate the local youth to join the Indian Army and Assam Rifles, the Srikona Battalion of Headquarter 21 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) began a week long pre-recruitment training and coaching sessions from 21 November, 2022 at Borobekra village of Jiribam District of Manipur and at Jaliura village of Cachar District of Assam.

The aim of the training is to guide the local youths aspiring to join Armed Forces and to equip them with pragmatic insights on contemporary issues and to impart a thorough training covering physical and aptitude performance conditioning of the participants.
